The B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (with optional specialization in Automobile Engineering or Smart Manufacturing) at BSDU is a four-year undergraduate program that builds strong foundations in mechanical sciences, manufacturing technologies, and industrial systems.
The program enables students to apply engineering principles of mechanics, thermodynamics, materials, manufacturing systems, mechatronics, automation, and digital tools to design, analyse, and manage mechanical and automotive systems. Emphasis is placed on hands-on learning, laboratory practice, industry projects, simulation, testing, data analysis, and real-world problem solving.

Eligibility Criteria:
Minimum Qualification: 10+2 from a recognised board
Subject Requirements: Physics & Mathematics (compulsory), plus one of the following: Chemistry / Computer Science / Biology / Biotechnology, or a Technical Vocational subject
Minimum Marks: Candidates must have secured minimum of 60% aggregate marks in Physics and Mathematics, along with a minimum of 60% overall aggregate calculated on the basis of Best 5 subjects.
